Seaside
Today was a long but good day. We woke up after a night at Neil’s sister’s house, and then made our way to the seaside at Grimsby. The water was, well, brown :P But it was still really neat to 1. see the Atlantic Ocean from the other side 2. to check out the arcades and 3. to eat some most likely fresh fish and chips. Neil and I played a few games – Dance Dance Revolution was difficult because I was wearing some waterproof boot-like things. A bit clunky. We spent a majority of the day in the car tbh, but I enjoyed seeing the scenery. Even though you could say it is similar to the U.S. (Vermont), I still think the shrubbery and flora and such is all different so it makes it look like a completely different place. It’s hard for me to explain, but the trees and such sort of remind me of a place where fairies would live. Neil goes back to work on Monday :( I’m not sure what I’ll do with myself because I don’t go back to school until the 25th. Really hoping this cord for my Wii arrives tomorrow because we haven’t played yet and I’ve got a few games that I haven’t tried yet! Well exciting! We also still need to go into town and get my bus pass and I hope hoPE HOPE go for a Cookie Shake :D Hopefully, if it’s not too expensive, I’ll get a gym membership or something – that should keep me occupied while Neil is at work. All well, I’m sure everything will turn out just fine. ^.^

I might turn into this...!
